Our quarantine kennels have been extended and refurbished to a very spacious high standard. Each kennel offers an internal heated bedroom with a large exterior covered run.
We have 12 units ranging in size to cater for all sizes and numbers of dogs. This enables us to offer only the highest care and attention with love and cuddles to each dog in our care.

Feeding; we endeavour to feed your dog on the food it has been used to wherever possible or to the nearest alternative type. We can off a comprehensive range of foods from complete food (puppy, light & senior diets also) to tinned meat with mixer. Special diets are catered for on request and may be subject to a small additional cost. Treats are given at bedtime. Should you wish to bring your own treat when you visit, we ask owners to let us know what you are giving just in case of tummy upsets. Additional entertainment is continuous via a radio!

We have one of the most spacious catteries available in quarantine. Our 5 pens (2 x family, 2 x double & a single pen) consist of a large shelved bedroom with heated sleeping igloos. There are magnetic cat flaps which lead to a very large covered run where cats can play amongst the branches or just laze in the sunshine on shelves.

All types of cat food are provided. ie. Iams, Royal Canin, Persian, Siamese, Indoor, Senior complete food. Tinned meat is also available, special diets are catered for on request and may be subject to a small additional charge. We endeavour to keep your cat on its normal diet wherever possible. A veterinary surgeon attends the quarantine kennels regularly, as this is required by DEFRA. Our vet is on call for emergencies at all times. On arrival into quarantine your pet will receive a complete health check and will automatically be vaccinated against rabies (not on Pets for Passport scheme). We insist that dogs are fully vaccinated against distemper, parvo etc on arrival if they are not up to date. This will be billed separately. Cats should carry an up do date cat flu vaccination certificate otherwise they will be vaccinated on arrival and billed accordingly. On early release for Pets Travel Scheme your pet will have its paperwork checked and authorised by our vet.
Our Superintendent Veterinary Surgeons is Mr Alan J Bartram MsRCVS of Bartram & Patrick, Minsthorpe Lane, South Elmsall, Pontefract. WF9 2NY
